50 old tires in the forest near Schaiblishausen

50 old tires were illegally dumped in a forest between Ehingen-Schaiblishausen and Untersulmetingen. A forester discovered the mountain of old tires on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. The police are now looking for witnesses and are searching for the perpetrators, who probably transported the tires in a larger vehicle. There is a risk of high fines for such environmental crimes, and the Laupheim police are investigating intensively. Anyone who can provide information should call (07332) 96300.

About ZARE

The ZARE initiative is an amalgamation of a total of 18 companies organized in the Federal Association of Tire Dealers and Vulcanisers (BRV), 16 of which are certified disposal companies. The ZARE partners have set themselves the task of raising awareness of professional old tire recycling in Germany. At 25 locations, the ZARE partners cover almost all of Germany and the Netherlands. The ZARE partners do not have any additional certification compared to the certified used tire disposal companies who do not belong to the initiative. The certificate in accordance with the Waste Management Ordinance/BRV requirement profile alone stands for environmentally friendly disposal of old tires. The ZARE initiative makes this public.

ZARE is an active member of the AZuR network. The AZuR network finds ways and solutions for an ecologically and economically sensible tire cycle.
