As early as mid-February, unknown perpetrators set fire to two car tires on Detmolder Strasse at the corner of Niederwall in Bielefeld. The search operation of a police patrol who discovered the burning tires was unsuccessful, however, after the fire was extinguished, paint daubs were found near the intersection, which may have come from the same people.
