Hardly a week goes by without reading several reports in the local media about illegal disposal of used tires. For example, the Südkurier, which is responsible for the Lake Constance region, reported on October 19 that seven tires had been unloaded on a dirt road on the connecting road from the Swiss town of Güttingen and Reute/Haldenstätten. Perpetrators must have struck a few days earlier near Klein Varlingen, about 40 kilometers north-west of Hanover. They threw the tires, some of which were disposed of complete with the rim, into a moorland ditch, which makes disposal particularly complicated and expensive. The Stormarn community near Hamburg was particularly irresponsible. Between 29.10. Between November 04th and 300th, a total of around XNUMX used tires were unloaded at two different locations. In view of the crowd, the police suspect that the same perpetrator is behind both mountains of tires. In all three cases, one hopes for information from the population.
